The role:

This is a key role within the Sales team:

  • Be the contact point for key accounts, building strong client relationships in order to drive sales and optimize NPD opportunities.
  • Drive commodity lines by understanding client needs and client market.
  • Maximize all potential sales opportunities by understanding the client’s needs and matching those with CCI products.
  • Utilize Market research tools to understand market trends/ conditions.
  • Check Emails regularly throughout the day and respond to customer enquiries, new or existing, within 24hrs, sending holding emails where necessary.
  • Host regular calls with clients to build on working relationship.
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives (trade shows, accreditations, advertising, country trade association…).
  • Attending conferences, meetings and industry events.
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new product developments .
  • Developing quotes and proposals.
  • Produce a quarterly report and a strategy plan to present at the quarter review.
  • Negotiating by phone, email, and in person.
  • Producing weekly activity reports.
  • Producing monthly logo board (targets and performance).
  • Updating customer file after each visit.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with hybrid working from home and from our office in CA. Benefits to include:

The requirements:

To be successful, you will ideally have experience with ERP’s CMS and eCommerce along with the following:

  • Excellent communicator – can build and deliver a compelling argument for a course of action.
  • A team player, with individual sense of ownership.
  • Structured but flexible.
  • Strong analytical skills with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance delivery of long-term projects with day-to-day demands.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, with strong MS Excel skills (at least intermediate level).
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
